American Bank Holdings, Inc. became the savings and loan holding company of American Bank (the Bank) as a result of the Banks reorganization into a holding company structure in March 2003. American Bank is a federally chartered savings bank headquartered in Silver Spring, Maryland. It operates four full-service branch offices, three in Maryland and one in Washington, D.C. The Bank also operates a loan production/leasing office in Charlotte, North Carolina. Its primary business activity is attracting deposits from the general public and using the proceeds for investments and loan originations.
