The Banks principal business consists of originating loans and attracting deposits. The Bank originates commercial loans, commercial real estate loans, construction loans, one- to four-family real estate loans, home equity and consumer loans. The Bank also invests in United States Treasury and United States Government agency securities and other securities, including mortgage-backed securities issued by or guaranteed by the federal government.
