Bank of Chile is a full-service financial institution providing, directly and indirectly through its subsidiaries and affiliates, a wide variety of credit and non-credit products and services to all segments of the Chilean financial market. As of December 31, 2002, the Company delivered financial products and services through a nationwide network of 219 branches, 2,782 automated teller machines (ATMs) located throughout Chile and other electronic distribution channels. Bank of Chile also offers international banking services through its branch in New York, its agency in Miami, representative offices in Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo and Mexico City and a worldwide network of correspondent banks. In addition, the Company offers a variety of non-banking financial services, including securities brokerage, mutual fund management, financial advisory services, factoring, insurance brokerage, securitization and collection and sales services.
