BankUnited Financial Corporation serves as the holding company for BankUnited, FSB (the Bank). The Bank provides a range of banking services to individual and corporate customers through its branches in south Florida. As of September 30, 2003, BankUnited operated 45 full-service banking offices located in south Florida. There are 17 offices located in Miami Dade County, 18 in Broward County, eight in Palm Beach County and two in Collier County. The Bank also serves its customers through its automated teller machines (ATMs), personal computer (PC) banking, telebanking and Internet banking.
