Bar Harbor Bankshares is a holding company for two primary operating subsidiaries, Bar Harbor Banking and Trust Company (the Bank) and BTI Financial Group (BTI). The Bank is a community bank that offers a range of deposit, loan and related banking products. BTI is a financial services holding company that renders brokerage, trust, private banking, financial planning and investment management services to individuals, businesses, not-for-profit organizations and municipalities. The Company manages and operates two major lines of business, Community Banking and Financial Services. Community Banking includes lending and deposit-gathering activities and related services to businesses and consumers. Financial Services consists of broker-dealer operations, trust services and investment portfolio management.
