Central Pacific Financial Corp., formerly known as CPB Inc., is a holding company for Central Pacific Bank (the Bank), a full-service commercial bank that had 24 banking offices and 77 ATMs (automated teller machines) located throughout the State of Hawaii, as of December 31, 2002. The Bank engages in various lending activities, including the granting of commercial, consumer and real estate loans. The Bank also offers various deposit instruments, including personal and business checking and savings accounts, money market accounts and time certificates of deposit. Other products and services include non-deposit investment products, debit card services, Internet banking services, cash management services, travelers checks, safe deposit boxes, international banking services, night depository facilities and wire transfer services. The Banks Trust and Investment Management Division also offers investment management, asset custody and general consultation and planning services.
