Cherokee Banking Company is a bank holding company. The Companys only subsidiary is Cherokee Bank, N.A. (the Bank), which is located in Canton, Georgia. The Company was organized to facilitate the Banks ability to serve its customers banking needs. Cherokee Bank is a full-service commercial bank. It offers personal and business checking accounts, interest-bearing checking accounts, savings accounts and various types of certificates of deposit (CDs). The Bank also offers commercial loans, installment and other consumer loans, home equity loans, home equity lines of credit, construction loans and mortgage loans. In addition, the Bank provides such products and services as official bank checks and money orders, travelers checks, MasterCard and Visa credit cards, MasterMoney debit cards, Internet banking and bill-pay, bank-by-mail, direct deposit and United States Savings Bonds.
