Harleysville Group and Harleysville Mutual Insurance Company, which owns 56% of the Company, operate together as a network of regional insurance companies that underwrite a broad line of personal and commercial coverages, including automobile, homeowners, commercial multi-peril and workers compensation. These insurance coverages are marketed primarily in the eastern and Midwestern United States through approximately 1,700 insurance agencies. Regional offices are maintained in Georgia, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Virginia.
