National Western Life Insurance Company is a stock-life insurance company that offers a portfolio of individual whole life, universal life and term insurance plans, as well as annuities that cover supplementary riders. The Company is licensed to do business in 48 states, the District of Columbia and four United States territories or possessions. National Western is also licensed in Haiti, and, although not otherwise licensed, accepts applications from, and issues policies to, residents of various countries in Central and South America, the Caribbean and the Pacific Rim. The Company provides life-insurance products for the wealth protection and accumulation needs of approximately 154,000 policyholders and annuity contracts for the savings and retirement needs of over 101,000 contract holders. National Western manages its business between domestic insurance operations and international insurance operations.
