Stewart Information Services Corporation is primarily engaged in the title insurance business. The Company issues policies through more than 6,400 issuing locations on homes and other real property located in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and several foreign countries. Its direct operations include affiliated agencies, while agency operations include non-affiliated agencies that have underwriting contracts with the Company. Stewart also sells electronically delivered real estate services and information, as well as mapping products and geographic information systems, to domestic and foreign governments and private entities.
