The Company has approximately 60,000 small and mid-sized business clients. Its sales and marketing efforts are focused primarily on serving middle-market businesses. It has two operating segments: insurance brokerage and specialized benefits services. Insurance brokerage includes general and specialty property and casualty insurance, which it refers to as P&C insurance, and individual and group health, life and disability insurance, which it refers to as group employee benefits insurance. The specialized benefits services segment includes core benefits (health and welfare), benefits enrollment and communication and executive and professional benefits.
