U.S. PPI unexpectedly rose 0.6% in April: 
U.S. PPI unexpectedly rose 0.6% in April from 0.7% in March, due to rising oil prices, according to the Labor Department. Economists were forecasting 0.4%. On a year-on-year basis the PPI was up 4.8%.
