Mortgage applications rose 0.2% last week

Mortgage applications rose 0.2% last week

Mortgage applications rose 0.2% in the week ended April 29, according to the Mortgage Bankers Association. Refinancing applications rose 0.4%. Applications for mortgages increased 0.1%. Refinancings accounted for 39.1%. The 30-year mortgage rate fell to 5.74% from 5.75%.
