Chicago-based MB Financial Bank (Nasdaq:MBFI) is saving time and money, while gaining a competitive advantage, by e-mailing customers' monthly statements using Imagesoft Technologies' Nautilus eDocument Distribution software solution.
MB Financial is one of the few banks in the Chicago area to offer e-mailed statements.
An additional benefit is that the bank has begun developing a database of customer e-mail addresses that can be used in the future to reach so-called "invisible customers," or those who never enter a bank's offices.
