Banks start integrated payments

(by Ameli Berksman)

Banks start using solutions from such providers as Princeton eCom, Metavante and CardSystems in order to offer their corporate clients integrated payments functions.

More and more banks, enterprises and billers use eCom’s CollectPay solution to consolidate web- and phone-based payments onto a single platform that accepts ACH or credit card transactions.

Bank of America, for instance uses Princeton eCom technology to start its integrated electronic receivables solution for corporate clients Remote Payments Online service.

Volkswagen Bank uses a solution from Metavante to install an integrated banking and payment platform for bank accounts and processing, electronic banking, EFT and payment card services.

National Transaction Corporation, for its turn, uses a solution from CardSystems Solutions to offer business clients multi-channel B2B payment options. CardSystem’s processing infrastructure and support services are also used by acquiring banks and ISOs to run the payment processing cycle within handling dispute resolution.
