eBay’s online payment system PayPal said on Wednesday it had already resolved the majority of the problems that unabled users for accounts and close online sales access.
"We’ve made significant progress. People are able to transact without significant incident," said PayPal spokeswoman Amanda Pires.
PayPal’s users account for at least 50 million. It processed $4.4 billion in payments in the second quarter of the year.
"We understand and we feel very apologetic that people were very inconvenienced by these issues," said Amanda Pires.
