Automated collectors in use

Automated collectors in use

(by Dr. Goldfinger)

Automation of collections procedures is one more way to achieve greater efficiency with the write-offs of the U.S. credit card issuers accounting for $45 billion.

Customers that try to avoid bill payments not intentionally will feel more comfortable with the new system. Agents will also get the opportunity to have more time to pursue those that are doing it intentionally.

Using online bill payment services customers will now have the chance to reconcile bills through the new channel.

An automated collector is more suitable for delinquent customers as the number of collection call hang-ups or thwarts via answering machines, caller ID or call blocking.
