POS and chip & PIN combined for greater efficiency

POS and chip & PIN combined for greater efficiency

(by Peter Van Bruggen)

Daily operations such as security, sales reports, stock control and loyalty schemes will be improved as chip & PIN compliance issues push publicans to install or upgrade POS systems.

Vendors are now requested to use POS and chip & PIN solutions as publicans want bills to be sent to the chip & PIN device for payment.

New ePOS systems also rationalize day-to-day operations and future planning in the form of stock tools, with back office functions delivering a holistic view of business performance, the newest data shows.
