JP Morgan Chase ties up ACH, check conversion service

JP Morgan Chase combined an automated clearing house (ACH) and check conversion service to compete with non-banking institutions, the company said.

Morgan Chase also said one of its goals is to expand on the market of distributed payments in addition to its efforts to beat non-banking competitors. Moreover, the bank also sees huge competition from the banks that are offering the same combination of services as well.

Morgan Chase seeks for the options to push its back-office services to support corporate treasury firms.

The treasury services of the bank were improved recently in order to be in touch with the joint customer base that resulted from the merger with Bank One.
