Japanese shares closed lower today on profit-taking. The Nikkei 225 fell 9.43 points, 0.1% to 11,490.43.

Advantest added 0.34% to 8960 yen, Canon advanced 0.55% to 5500 yen. NEC declined 0.80% to 619 yen.
Honda rose 0,74% to 5470, Nissan Motor added 1.18% to 1117 yen, Toyota rose 0.49% to 4070 yen.
Yto-Yokado rose 0.5% to 4050 yen.

FOREX
In the currency market, the euro slipped to $1.2759 from $1.2763 in New York late Monday, the highest level since early of November. The dollar rose to 105.31 yen, from $104.80.
