Japanese shares closed mixed on Monday.
The Nikkei 225 fell 9.10 points, 0.08% to 11,651.02. The TOPIX rose 0.01% and closed at 1,166.74.
Advantest fell 1.20% to 9080 yen, Canon slipped 0.55% and closed at 5470 yen. NEC rose 0.15% to 655 yen. Daiei added 1.33% to 228 yen.
Honda tumbled 1,42% to 5560, Nissan Motor fell 0.09% to 1130 yen, Toyota slid 0.96% to 4130 yen.
Yto-Yokado declined 0.46% to 4320 yen.
FOREX
In the currency market, the euro slid to $1.3051 from $1.3074 in New York late Friday. The dollar rose to 105.72 yen, from $105.63 yen.
