No Hyundai cars without XM receivers
(by Helen Snow)

An innovation was designed by Hyundai Motor America – the first cars with installed Satellite radios as standard equipment.
"Satellite radio will be a standard feature on all cars in the United States in the coming years," XM Satellite’s chief executive, Hugh Panero, said in an interview.
XM Satellite Radio Holdings, the largest subscription-radio service, achieved a great deal with Hyundai and with the possibility for vehicle buyers to subscribe for it.
Its closest rival, Sirius Satellite Radio, declared that receivers for its service would be included as factory-installed options on some Range Rovers and Jaguars of Ford Motor.
The exclusive agreements of both companies influenced their stock: shares of XM Satellite rose $2.41, to close at $30.45; Sirius shares rose 14 cents, to $5.42.
Despite the fact that XM Satellite and Sirius are engaged in severe competition, the comparatively cheap costs of their services and the technological development will allow some day to have receivers rolling both XM and Sirius.
