Janus settlement expected

Janus is expected to clinch a settlement with regulators soon and an announcement could come as early as this week, a person familiar with the negotiations told CBS MarketWatch. The settlement would come after Mark Whiston, head of Janus (JNS), revealed plans to step down effective Tuesday. Steve Scheid, the company's chairman, will succeed Whiston.
