JPMorgan to acquire Tranaut Fund Administration

JPMorgan said it has agreed to acquire Tranaut Fund Adminstration, a privately-owned hedge fund administation services firm, according to CBSMarketWatch. JPMorgan, a global financial services firm with $1.1 trillion in assets, said Tranaut will enhance the services JPMorgan already offers to hedge funds and institutional investors. Formed in 1999, Tranaut has offices in Ireland and Bermuda. The acquisition, terms of which were undisclosed, is expected to close in the third quarter. Shares of JPMorgan fell 44 cents to $35.56 in mid-morning trade.
