Pimco faces another settlement

(by Sh. Nakata)

On Wednesday, the Pimco mutual fund group will pay as much as $15 million in settlement of a joint federal and state probe into revenue-sharing practices with brokers.

Pimco has already settled one of the federal charges being accused quick-trade in stock funds. New settlement will include $10 million to be paid to SEC and $5 million to California.

Pimco is accused of improper disclosure of its payments to brokerages selling stock mutual funds to investors.

Pimco spokesman declined to comment.
