Fidelity on top in Europe’s stock funds performance

The first quarter performance of Europe’s stock mutual funds showed the tendency to grow in the first quarter, with the Fidelity European Growth Fund rate on the top of general top ten performance.

Fidelity is at the top of the list that contains ten companies providing the highest offerings within the region.

The average stock fund rose 2.5% as of March 24, Bloomberg data shows. The figure should be compared with the 0.2% gain for the average bond and money market fund.

Fidelity is the largest stock fund for Europe, data shows. Its Fund has manages as much as $22.6 billion with the gain of about 7% over the period.

BP Plc and Eni SpA are the second and the third largest funds in the region respectively, data over the first two months of 2005 showed.
