US STOCK MARKET
The U.S. stock markets closed higher on Monday.
The Dow Jones Industrial advanced 80.91 points, or 0.77%, to 10,523.78. The Nasdaq Composite rose 10.07 points, or 0.51%, to 2,001.13. The S&P500 added 7.66 points, or 0.65%, to 1,179.08.
FOREX
In the currency market, the euro fell to $1.2882 from $1.2960 in New York late Friday. The dollar rose to 107.20 yen, from $106.32 yen.
