MARKET SNAPSHOT: COMMODITIES, EQUITIES, TREASURIES, FOREX

COMMODITIES
May crude oil futures fell $1.74, or 3.1%, to $54.11 a barrel.
 
 
 EU STOCK MARKET
European shares ended higher on Thursday.
 
 
 
US Treasuries
The 10-year Treasury note fell 14/32, its yield rose 5 basis points to 4.48%.
 
 
US STOCK MARKET
The U.S. stock markets closed higher on Thursday.
The Dow Jones Industrial advanced 60.08 points, or 0.57%, to 10,546.10. The Nasdaq Composite rose 17.53 points, or 0.88%, to 2,016.67. The S&P500 added 6.83 points, or 0.58%, to 1,190.90.
 
 
FOREX
In the currency market, the euro fell to $1.2852 from $1.2882 in New York late Wednesday. The dollar fell to 108.60 yen, from $108.66 yen.
