Japanese shares closed lower on Tuesday due to falling of technology shares.
The Nikkei 225 rose 63.76 points, 0.54% to 11,874.75.
Advantest was down 1.44% and closed at 8230 yen, Canon tumbled 1.55% to 5730 yen. NEC fell 1.83% to 644 yen. Sony slid 1.84% to 4260 yen.
Daiei tumbled 3.35% to 202 yen.
Honda slipped 1.08% to 5480, Nissan Motor fell 1.33% to 1116 yen, Toyota declined 1.23% to 4030 yen.
Yto-Yokado dropped 1.65% to 4170 yen.
FOREX
In the currency market, the euro advanced to $1.2990 from $1.2975 in New York late Monday. The dollar slipped to 107.70 yen, from $107.80 yen.
