The Dow Jones industrial dropped 104.04 points, or 0.99%, to 10,403.93. The Standard & Poor’s 500 Index fell 13.97 points, or 1.18%, to 1,173.79. The Nasdaq Composite Index declined 31.03 points, or 1.55%, to close at 1,974.37.
