June crude oil futures rose $0.13 to $48.67 a barrel. For the week oil tumbled 4.5%.
June gold futures fell $1.90 to $420.4 an ounce.
US STOCK MARKET
The U.S. stock markets closed mixed on Friday.
The Dow Jones Industrial declined 49.36 points, or 0.48%, to 10,140.12. The Nasdaq Composite rose 12.92 points, or 0.66%, to 1,976.80. The S&P500 fell 5.33 points, or 0.46%, to 1,154.03.
FOREX
In the currency market, the euro fell to $1.2627 from $1.2705 in New York late Thursday. The dollar rose to 107.40 yen, from $106.78 yen.
