Japanese shares ended lower on Monday on concerns over the macroeconomic conditions.
The Nikkei 225 fell 101.89 points, 0.92% to 10,947.22.
Advantest rallied 2.81% and closed at 7690 yen, Canon fell 0.72% to 5560 yen. NEC declined 0.52% to 576 yen. Sony dropped 1.0% to 3960 yen.
Daiei rose 0.65% to 200 yen.
Honda closed unchanged at 5120, Nissan Motor was down 0.38% to 1040 yen, Toyota slipped 0.26% to 3820 yen.
Yto-Yokado fell 0.27% to 3670 yen.
FOREX
In the currency market, the euro fell to $1.2590 from $1.2627 in New York late Friday. The dollar rose to 107.72 yen, from $107.40 yen.
