Japanese shares ended lower on Tuesday.
The Nikkei 225 tumbled 121.83 points, 1.11% to 10,825.39.
Advantest fell 1.43% and closed at 7580 yen, Canon rose 0.72% to 5600 yen. NEC declined 0.17% to 575 yen. Sony dropped 0.76% to 3930 yen.
Daiei declined 0.35% to 199.3 yen.
Honda rose 0.59 to 5150, Nissan Motor was down 0.48% to 1035 yen, Toyota advanced 0.79% to 3850 yen.
Yto-Yokado fell 0.54% to 3650 yen.
FOREX
In the currency market, the euro fell to $1.2621 from $1.2639 in New York late Monday. The dollar rose to 107.16 yen, from $106.86 yen.
