US STOCK MARKET
The U.S. stock markets closed higher on Monday.
The Dow Jones Industrial rose 53.43 points, or 0.51%, to 10,525.34. The Nasdaq Composite rose 9.63 points, or 0.47%, to 2,056.05. The S&P500 was up 4.74 points, or 0.40%, to 1,194.02.
FOREX
In the currency market, the euro rose to $1.2584 from $1.2563 in New York late Friday. The dollar fell to 107.61 yen from 108.12 yen.
