India-China to "open a new chapter" in friendly relations

Today Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao is on his official visit to India. In New Deli he was met by Indian Vice-President and Indian parliament Speaker Bhairon Singh Shekhawat.

Jiabao aims to encourage parliamentary exchanges with India. He believes that this practice will promote between-nation relationships.

During the meeting with Indian parliament Speaker Bhairon Singh Shekhawat Jiabao expressed his expectations for the improving of India-China relationship.

This meeting is believed to "open a new chapter" in the friendly relations and cooperation between the two nations.
