Iraqi militant ambush: Minister Al-Baldawi intact

Three people injured and a bodyguard died today in Baghdad as a result of the attack on the Iraqi interior minister convoy.

The officials report that General Tariq al-Baldawi, a deputy interior minister, is intact after the fire opened on his convoy by gunmen in two cars. Al-Baldawi’s son was injured together with the other two people, and a bodyguard was killed.
