Chinese GDP surged 9.5% in the first quarter

Chinese GDP surged 9.5% to 3.14 trillion yuan ($379 billion) in the first quarter due to raise in export and investments. Economists were expecting 9%.
 
Fixed-asset investments rose 23% to 1.1 trillion yuan.
