N.Korea one step closer to conflict
North Korea seems to get closer to admitting its involvement to nuclear weapons after the country said it would regard any move from the United Nations as an act of war.

Any sanctions from any UN country will be regarded by North Korea «as a declaration of war,» according to an official who declined to be named.

The US brought the issue to UN Security Council saying North Korea’s nuclear program threatens global peace. The US also stressed that the Security Council should take all the declarations made by North Korea seriously.

North Korea is still boycotting the negotiations over the nuclear issue particularly refusing to come to talks with the US that pursues «hostile policy» towards the country. Earlier, the US, South Korea, China, Japan and Russia called for negotiations with North Korea but failed to push the country to talks.

The International Crisis Group estimated November that North Korea may have up to 10 nuclear weapons. The country is still expecting international injections to its weak economy.
