North Korea talks still in danger
(by Olivia Cohen)

North Korea talks still in danger The six-party talks over the North Korea nuclear issue see no progress amid the latest information on possible preparation to the first nuclear weapon testing held in North Korea.

The US seems frustrated awakening fears that it fails to resolve the problem that holds danger for South Korea as the North Korea closest neighbor. The Bush administration is now seeking ways to soothe the conflict after North Korea claimed it has nuclear weapons and would soon be testing the weapons.

The US expects the help from China – the closest ally for North Korea. China has to use all the tools available to lure North Korea to six-party talks over nuclear weapon issue.

The US spy satellites showed possible preparations for North Korea’s first-ever nuclear weapons test, according to the information reveiled by the US officials that declined to be named.

North Korea neither confirmed nor denied the testing. "The United States is making a fuss saying that it was notifying the International Atomic Energy Agency, Japan and other related countries of its own opinion that our republic may conduct an underground nuclear test in June," was said in one North Korean newspapers.
